International Virtual Exchange Learning (IVEL) creates space for faculty, staff, and students from different cultural backgrounds to connect and team up on academic and professional work while residing in other countries. IVEL allows faculty, staff, and students to engage in impactful cross-cultural experiences on a global scale. IVEL uses technology to bring innovative experiential collaboration, allowing institutions to work together at minimal cost while being accessible worldwide.

IVEL offers several models of learning, including:
An IVEL model in which learners interact in parallel courses, using videoconferencing, email, and other electronic communication. | An IVEL model where faculty or students at two or more institutions share a research project. | An IVEL model in which speakers give virtual guest lectures or engage in global conversations. |
IVEL breaks barriers to international educational access and contributes to achieving a more just and equitable global society.
