"I would like to thank you all for awarding me the Burgundy and Gold Scholarship. It means that I will be able to receive some financial relief and pay for my books. I have to pay out of pocket for housing, so this will also really help me out in helping pay for my education and finish my last year as a senior. I intend to get my master's, so with the money, I'm going to use it for next semester as well and this will really help me become the best version of myself and keep excelling as a student."

Sheena Adolphus

Grade level: Graduate student
Major: Clinical Psychology

"I would like to thank the donors for the opportunity to receive this scholarship. It means so much to me. It's really helping me this year especially as I have been a student worker on campus for the past two years and that means that I've had my tuition covered because of that. This is the first year that I have to pay my tuition on my own, so the scholarship is helping me to cover a significant portion of the costs. After I graduate, I plan to give back to my community as a counselor, and this scholarship gets me much closer to this goal."
